Just a question, is this a joke? This cannot be what they are putting forward. And she just lied about the bridge to no where.
Have you no shame Mr, Mccain?
Its not much of a diary, but this is such a joke it doesnt require much of a response.
That was, how shall I say this, perfect. From the delivery to content and everywhere in between that was absolutely perfect. I for one was blown away by just how amazing and unifying it was. Tonight I salute Hillary Clinton as someone who actually does care about this country more then personal aspirations, contrary to my own commentary and the forced message of the MSM. She addressed everything I could have possibly imagined with a style I did not know she was capable of.
She delivered a strong message that not only improved her image, but that of Obama and democrats as a hole. That got me fired up and happy to have her on the team. Bringing fond memories of Bill was also worked on me more then I thought it would. As I saw him being so personal with everyone he interacted with before the speech, I mumbled under my breath, my god the man still has it. Overall, I would have to give it a 10/10 on any scale, for it not only met all needs but exceeded them.
He may not be that popular on this site, but KO got it right when he called it a grand slam.
This is the newest dumb quote from the Team Captain of the dead enders.
"Suppose you're a voter, and you've got candidate X and candidate Y. Candidate X agrees with you on everything, but you don't think that candidate can deliver on anything at all. Candidate Y you agree with on about half the issues, but he can deliver. Which candidate are you going to vote for?"
Honestly, what is wrong with this man, I truly believe the primary loss was taken as a personal loss by him and he has become unhinged. Between this and the fiasco of not being able to bring himself to say Obama was qualified to be President, I dont know why he is even at the convention. If it isnt one thing its another, whether is complaining about his speaking slot or subject, or still flying the flag of disunity, the fun never ends with this guy.
My hope is that he just shuts up, delivers his speech and goes back to doing good work for the world, because he is doing no good for the country. I dont think he is racist, I do believe he shows poor judgment and does not know when to watch what he says. Still, after all that has gone down to say something like that, hours before his wifes speech, he just needs to go. All he is doing as adding to the medias chosen storyline, and he cant help himself.

"Save it for 2050. ... Every speech should contain the line you were born in the middle of America American to the middle class in the middle of the last century. And talk about the basic bargain as about the deeply American values you grew up with, learned as a child and that drive you today. Values of fairness, compassion, responsibility, giving back"
The key phrase of this memo is "save it for 2050." Its meaning is very clear, very clear.

John Edwards has dealt yet another blow to the image of politicians and to men in general. I was never an Edwards fan and hardly a believer in the National Enquirer, granted they have been right more often then not, but this all stinks.
Seems he is finally admitting to the affair, but still denying that he is the father of the child. I believe this was leaked on the opening day of the Olympics for a reason, and prompts me to dislike this man even more. I don't know if it is the wife with cancer aspect, the child that he still denies aspect or the just another lying politician aspect, but this whole situation is bad.
The story is here http://abcnews.go.com/Blotter/story?id=5 441195&page=1. Gotta feel sorry for his wife, who might be more popular in the party then he is. This guy needs to be barred from speaking at the convention and anything to do with the party. I think his wife will still be a great champion of cancer research and a benefit, I cant say the same for him.
